Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on January 30, 1932 in Stockbridge, GA to Cona and Beckie (Reagan) Evans. She was a member of Bemiss Road Baptist Church and the Senior Citizens Center. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Young, Sr. & daughter, Martha Rutledge.
Survivors include her Son & Daughter-in-law, Steven & Ashlee Young of Valdosta, GA; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Mary Lou Evans of McDonough, GA, Anna May Higgins of Valdosta, GA; Brother & Sister-in-law: Robert & Marie Evans of College Park, GA and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Bemiss Road Baptist Church with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens.
