Of Lakeland, Ga. passed away late Friday night after and extended illness. He was born and had lived in Lanier County most of his life. He served in WWII and was a member of the D.A.V. and was a member of the Lakeland Church of God. Preceded in death by his parents Marcus and Ada Cumbus Ganas, four brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 1, 2004 in the Lakeland Church of God with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lakeland.
