She was a member of Rosedale Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert G. Crosby, and a brother, Clinton Douglas.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 20, 2005 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Oak Hill Cemetery.
