Margaret A. Giddens – 80

Of Lakeland passed away early Tuesday morning, October 25, 2005 in Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Worcester County, Massachusetts on January 7, 1925 to the late Eugene & Margaret Stinson. Mrs. Giddens retired as the Lanier County Public School Librarian after 18 years of service. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer P. Giddens, Sr., son, Gene Giddens, sister-in-law, Ida Lou Fletcher.

Great Grandchildren: Caleb & Jenna Beard, Jordan & Logan Day

Funeral mass was held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 27, 2005 in the Queen of Peace Catholic Church with burial following in New Ramah Cemetery. No formal visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers please make donation to Hospice of South Georgia, 205 Woodrow Wilson, Valdosta, GA. 31602 or a charity or church of your choice.
