Margaret Peggy Leaf
RAY CITY Margaret Peggy Leaf, 53, of Ray City, passed away Monday, March 21, 2005, in Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 27, 1951, in Pulaski, Va., and had lived in Ray City for the past 14 years. She was a member of the Knights Memorial Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Leaf. She enjoyed the company of many friends, neighbors, and she loved children and animals. Her delight was in the Lord, and she took every opportunity to do good to all men.
Survivors include her father, Charles Miller Sr., and mother, Mary Miller, both of Falls Church, Va.; two brothers, David Miller, Falls Church, Va., Charles Miller Jr., Chester, Md.; sister-in-law, Jamie Miller, Chester, Md.; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Susan Miller, Reston, Va., Patricia Miller, Falls Church, Va., Barbara and Eben Halberstam, Fairfax, Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Wanda Webb; stepsons, James Leaf, Tifton, and Wesley Leaf, Tifton; three grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2005, in Knights Memorial Missionary Baptist Church with burial following in the Flat Creek Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to Knights Memorial Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, Route 1, Box 374, Lakeland, GA 31635.
