Margaret Glover Lee – 91
Of Lake Park passed away peacefully at her home on January 13, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on July 31, 1927 in Brookeborough, Northern Ireland. As a World War II bride, she came to the United States in 1946. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Anna Glover, her father, William J. Glover, her brother Gerald Glover, her sister-in-law, Dorothy Glover, her sister Freda Dumican, her brother-in-law, Sammy Dumican all of Lisburn, Northern Ireland, and her son, Gerald Larry Lee of Rives Junction, MI, and her daughter, Ramona Charmaine Lee of Lake Park, GA.
She is survived by seven remaining children and their spouses, Kenny and Brenda Lee of Five Points, AL, Linda Lee of Rives Junction, MI, Vaughn and Sue Lee of Pinetta, FL, Joyce and Robert Copeland of Lake Park, GA, Freda and Dickie Rowland of Quitman, GA, Gary Lee of Kiln, MS, Tammy and Ben Connell of Jennings, FL, and David and Tamera Lee of Pinetta, FL.
She was known as “Bigmama” to her friends and family. Grandchildren include Tommy Lee (Jody), Toni Lee, Scotty Lee, Chrissy Parks, Sean Lee (Ashley), Chad Lee (Joi), Brandon Lee (Lynsay), Lindsay Lee, Ashley Prater (Scott), Nic Lee (Katie), Chelsea Lee (Patrick), Severin Lee (Victoria), Perry Taylor (Lisa), Jay Taylor (Denise), Drue Taylor, Greta Vargas (Wil), Granger Copeland, Mandi Lee (Edwin), Ryan Lee (Sabrina), Dalton Cox (Ben), Callie McRae (Chris), Kelli Rowland (Jon), Kristi Guest (Ric), Shannon Lee and Alan Lee. She is also survived by 38 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and her special nephews and their spouses Andrew Dumican (Pamela) and family as well as David Dumican (Tanja) and family, all of Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at a later date. A special thank you to Halcyon Hospice for their professional and compassionate care. We the family will remember her as a loving mother and a precious grandmother and ask that those who loved her remember the extraordinary woman that she was and to cherish the memories.
