Margaret Louise Longacre – 71

Of Valdosta, formerly of Delaware passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Wilmington, Delaware on September 28, 1941 to the late Elwood and Margaret Johnson. She was a member of Redland Baptist Church. She loved working crossword puzzles, reading, sewing and animals. She is joined in heaven with her husband, Harvey B. Longacre, 2 sons, Butchie Longacre and Bobby Longacre and 2 Grandsons, Jimmy Jones and Brian Longacre.

Survivors Include: 3 Daughters and Son-in-law, Diane Longacre, Valdosta, Becky & Melvin Jones, Chesapeake City, Maryland, Anna Longacre, Valdosta; 2 Sons & Daughter-in-law, Paul Longacre, Sussex County, Delaware, Charlie & Patty Longacre, Wilmington, Delaware; 19 Grandchildren; 24 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Nancy Orledge, Wilmington, Delaware; Brother, Ronald Johnson, Sussex County, Delaware and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Redland Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
