Margaret H. Yeomans – 84
Of Lakeland, GA passed away Monday, May 09, 2016 at Lakeland Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness. She was born July 7, 1931 to the late Will and May Pierce in Lanier County. She was married to Freeman Yeomans and they had 5 children. She worked most of her life in various places including retail stores in Lakeland and Valdosta with her last employment being at Nashville Mills in Nashville, GA. Her husband passed away suddenly in February of 1976 and she never remarried. Mrs. Yeomans was moved to the Villa after a bad fall at home in July in 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Freeman Yeomans, daughter, Deborah Karen, sister, Zona Siverling, brother, Martell Pierce and 2 daughters-in-law, Kathy and Sheree.
Survivors Include: Daughter and Son-in-law, Dianne and Chandler Sirmans, Lakeland, GA; Son & Daughters-in-law, Tommy and Geraldine Yeomans, Lakeland, GA, Bill Yeomans, Quitman, GA, Gary and Lori Yeomans, Lakeland, GA; Sister, Odessa Bradford, Lakeland, GA; Seven Grandchildren: Karen, Marty, Tim, Scott, Brandy, Kyle and Melinda; Great Grandchildren: Isabella, Christopher, Rebecca, Natalie, Ian, Tia, Grason, Jona, Cheyenne & Sam and 1 Great Great Grandson: Issac
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Southside Baptist Church with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. She will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to services.
