Of Valdosta passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 in South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born June 1, 1972 in Ft. Knox KY to the late Charles and Ellen Pearl Smith Cooper.
Survivors include: 2 Daughters, Mercedes Lehrer, Orlando, FL, Jaden Cowen, Coventry, RI; Granddaughter, Kinsley Marie Sheldon, Coventry, RI; Sister, Pam Beckmann, Valdosta, GA; Nephew, Levi McKinney, Atlanta, GA; Niece, Jessica Corley, Alpharetta, GA
As per her wishes, Maria will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
