Marie Mathis Dent

Of Lakeland passed away early Wednesday morning October 8, 2008 in the Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, GA after declining health for a number of years. In April 2004, she moved to Moultrie to live with her daughter to be her caregiver due to illness. She was born September 2, 1933 in Berrien County, GA to Matt P. and Lelia Belflower Mathis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Berrien Co.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM Friday October 10, 2008 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in Lakeland. The family will receive friends tonight October 9, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
