Of Hahira passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Fellowship Home after a brief illness. She was born on February 27, 1926 in Hahira, GA to the late Walter & Marion (Folsom) Simpson. As long as health permitted she was very active in her church, First Presbyterian Church. She and her late husband, Willie Webb enjoyed camping in the mountains, fishing and playing cards. Along with her first husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her 2nd husband: Donald Phelps, brothers: Norman W. Simpson & Charlene Simpson; sisters: Corine Stone, Laura Newman & Dorothy Holton and niece: Sandy Folsom.
Survivors Include: Sisters-in-law: Dorothy Simpson, Valdosta, Irene Simpson, Nebraska; Nieces: Norma Jean Johnson (Tim), Valdosta, Casey Studstill (Tom), Valdosta, Wanda Fiveash, Valdosta; Nephews: A.C. Stone (Doris), Valdosta, Walter Stone (Paula), Valdosta, Jerry Newman (Kim), Valdosta, Scott Holton, Hahira, Mark Holton (Terry), Valdosta, Allen Simpson (Mary), Oregon, Chris Simpson, Nebraska and Paul Simpson, Nebraska
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday evening, July 2, 2018 at the funeral home.
