Marion U. Turner, 71, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at her residence. She was born on April 23, 1954, in Germany to the late Willie Meindl and Ursula Meindl (Werner). Marion had a zest for life and found joy in life’s simple pleasures—whether savoring a scoop of her favorite ice cream, soaking up the sun by the pool, or breathing in the fresh air of the great outdoors. Her hands were rarely still, always creating something beautiful—flipping houses, dreaming up remodels, or nurturing her garden with the same care she gave to those she loved. She had a natural gift for turning spaces—and moments—into something better. Her deep love for animals reflected the compassion rooted in her soul, and she had a way of making every creature feel safe and cherished. With a heart full of kindness, a sharp eye for design, and a spirit drawn to warmth and beauty, she lived fully and loved deeply. Grounded in faith and guided by grace, Marion believed in the beauty of God's creation and in the power of love to transform and heal. Her light remains in the lives she touched and in the peace she now knows—resting in the arms of the Lord, surrounded by eternal sunshine, gardens that never fade, and all the creatures she so adored. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Turner, and her brother, Raymond Meindl. Survivors include her son, Clinton Pafford of Valdosta, Georgia; sisters, Petri Chandler of Valdosta, Georgia, Elona O’Blisk, Viola Williams, Ramoa Fox, and Ursula Meindl; and her brother, Arnie Meindl, also of Valdosta, Georgia. As per her wishes, she will be cremated, and no farewell services will be held. Kind words and expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at
