Marjorie Bowen

Marjorie Rae Bowen, 80, of Valdosta, GA passed away Friday January 30, 2015 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born on July 12, 1934 in Jasper, FL to the late Leonard and Nellie Allen Fennell. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Lula Mae Flaherty and Jackie McMullan.

Survivors include: Husband: Daniel Bowen, Valdosta, GA, Daughter: Rosemary Tommy Sheppard; Valdosta, GA, Son: Daniel Bowen II; Lake Wales, FL, Son: Tony Shelly Bowen; Live Oak, FL, 6 grandchildren; ChrissyCasey Crowder, Brittany Josh Kinney, Michaiah Bowen, Haley Sheppard, Michaela Bowen and Erin Sheppard, 3 great grandchildren: Jaylyn Emmett, Casey Crowder II, and Brody Kinney, Sister: Mattie Colvin; Bartow, FL, and a number of nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday February 7, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
