After his retirement he furthered his career in aviation and went to work with Vanguard Aviation. How do you sum up a life in words? To sum up the life of Mark Edward Anderson would take the entire dictionary. His life was one filled with love, joy, and most of all family. A quiet humble soul who enjoyed working with his hands. Either woodworking or fixing a car, he always had a smile on his face and his eyes on the grandkid scurrying around his feet. He was an avid reader and historian and loved to share his knowledge with others through stories he would tell. A genuine family man, his life centered on his children and grandchildren. Whether he was babysitting or just watching them playing in the yard, his face was always lit with pride and joy. He had a big heart full of love for everyone, so much so that he gave what little he had left away. He was also a very devoted husband who married his best friend and love of his life. There was nothing this wonderful man couldn’t accomplish or overcome. We will miss you so much and look forward to the day we can all be together again. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Donnie Anderson, Kenneth “Buddy” Anderson and his father-in-law, Bobby Hendley.
