Mark T. Barnes

Mark T. Barnes – 51 of Valdosta passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born on April 7, 1966 in Umatilla, FL to the late William Raymond Barnes & June L. (Bedgood) Barnes of Valdosta. Mark worked as a self-employed painter. He loved dirt track racing, cooking breakfast for his family, fishing, giving candy out to his nieces & nephews and was known for his tomato gravy. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Boyce.
Along with his mother he is survived by Sister & Brother-in-law: Annette Barnes(Paul Jones), Panama City, FL, Denise & David Carter, Clyattville, GA; 3 Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Tony & Billie Jo Bedgood, Lake Wales, FL, Billy & Sheli (Thomas) Barnes, Clermont, FL, Alan & Brooke Barnes, Lake Park, GA; Nieces & Nephews: Aaron Carter, Josh Carter, Jessica Rodriguez, Felicia Barnes, Adam Barnes, Hannah Barnes, Logan Barnes & Zack Barnes; Great Nephew: J.C. Morales; Great Niece: Rylee Hedden and several cousins who loved him as a brother, aunts & uncles.
The family will hold a memorial service at 1:00 PM Monday, April 9, 2018 in the Truth Harbor Apostolic Church, 4202 Loch Laurel Rd., Lake Park, GA.
