Of Nashville, GA passed away early Saturday morning January 8, 2011 in the Berrien Nursing Center in Nashville following a lengthy illness. She was born in August 29, 1955 in Clinch County, GA. She was preceded in death by her father Avery Gilbert.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM. Monday January 10, 2011 in the Flat Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Berrien County with burial in Westview Cemetery in Nashville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon between 4:00 and 7:00 PM. The family will gather at the home of her sister Betty McKinnon 3731 SR 76 East Nashville, GA 31639.
