Of Valdosta passed away Monday, March 2, 2009 at her home. She was born October 15, 1932 in Jesup, GA to the late Ivey and Alma Evans. She is preceded in death by her husband, 1st Sgt Gardell K. Kaney, her brother, Richard L. Evans and a sister, Norma Jean Doane.

Daughter and son –in-law Martha Ann and Jim Butler Homerville, GA
Son and Daughter-in-law Kenneth and Necole Kaney Lakeland, GA
Grandson and wife Gemel and Brigette Butler Vista, CA

Services will be March 5, 2009, 11:00 am in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4, 2009 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home .
