Martha Virginia Williford

Of Lakeland, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville after a brief illness. She was born July 10, 1930 in Jefferson County, Georgia to the late Fred and Louise Bridges Black. She was a homemaker and Evangelist, playing and singing gospel music with her family in churches throughout South Georgia and North Florida. She was a member of the Lakeland Church of God.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2008 at Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 21, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
