Of Homerville, GA passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2004 in Clinch Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born January 26, 1912 in Montgomery County, Alabama to the late Mr.and Mrs. S. C. Mosely. She lived in Clinch County most of her life. Mrs. Lee graduated from Valdosta High School, received her AB degree from Valdosta State College, her Masters Degree and six year from UGA. She taught at Lowndes, Clinch and Lanier County Schools. Was principal of Dupont School from 1940-1952, was curriculum director in Clinch County from 1952-1957. She served as Superintendent of Clinch County Schools from 1961 until retirement in 1975. Served as secretary and treasurer of the Georgia Association of School Superintendents 13 years, a member of the Education Advisory Committee, VSC, the G.E.A. Policies Committee, Clinch County Board of Health, Regional Library Board, Slash Pine Community Action Committee, TPA for Clinch County, President of Clinch County Retired Teachers, National Education Assoc., Georgia Education Assoc., GA Retired Teachers Assoc., member of Homerville Womans Club, Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Beta Alpha Chapter, and Charter member of Beta Alpha Chapter, Eighth District Womans Club, Member of Order of the Easter Star Magnolia Chapter, Worthy Matron 1978-1979, Director of Clinch County Chamber of Commerce, member of DAR, John Floyd chapter, charter member of Friends of the Library and associate member of Hospital Pink Ladies. Member of Dupont Baptist Church, served as Sunday School Superintendent, taught Adult Sunday School Class, and was a member of the church choir.
She was preceded in death by her daughter; Karlyn Lee Singletary, 3 brothers, Charles Mosely, Joe Mosely, Albert Mosely, 2 sisters, Doris Mosely Winter and Margaret Mosely Crawford.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2004 in First Baptist Church, Homerville, burial will follow in Pine Forest Cemetery.
