Of Lake Park, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at her residence. She was born on June 18, 1925 in Lakeland, GA to the late John and Georgia Lee Grover Giddens. She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Franklin Allen, her daughter, Gwen Cornelius, her sister, Rheabozo Beadie Manning and her son-in-law, Wallace Cornelius.
Her survivors include Son & Daughter -in-Law, Ted & Jerri Allen of Lake Park, GA; Grandchildren, Brian AllenPamela, Kristen BaxterJake, Donna Cornelius, Scott CorneliusDeena; 7 Great Grandchildren; a number of nieces & nephews; extended family members; and her Caretaker, Valerie Lightner
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Good Hope Baptist Church with burial to follow in the cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the Lakeland funeral home. The family would like to give a very special thanks to Halcyon Hospice and the ResCare HomeCare for the love and support that was given to their loved one.
