Of Lakeland, GA passed away Wednesday morning, April 14, 2004 in South Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in Lowndes County, GA and had lived in Lakeland most of her life. She was a member of Unity United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women. She will be remembered for her love in sharing food when the opportunity presented itself within the community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ike Brogdon.
Survivors include; 3 sons, Gordon Brogdon, Lakeland, GA, Clyde Brogdon, Lakeland, GA, Kenneth Brogdon, Lakeland, GA, Daughter, Betty Jo Bridges, Callahan, FL
18 Grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2004 in Unity United Methodist Church, with burial following in Fender Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 5:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. tonight.
