Mary Eunice Brown Ball – 86
Of Valdosta, GA, passed away, Thursday, November 11, 2021, in the Cook Medical Center. She was born on December 26, 1934 in Poulan, GA to the late James E. & Irma (Mulder) Thompson, Sr. Mary worked with Remerton Cotton Mill and as a nurse’s aide but most importantly loved raising her 6 children. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, loved music, sometimes played the comb and would give you the shirt off of her back. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Joseph Brown (father of children) and David Ball; children: Jerol Ann Brown and Wallace E. Brown; sisters: Juanita Thompson, Jackie Smith, Opal Shanor; brothers: John Thompson and Edward Thompson.
Survivors Include: Daughters: Debra Jo Mathis (Gary), Jennings, FL, Pamela Kay Eddington (Michael), Lake Park, GA, Juanita Brown Jackson (Wade), Cumming, GA; Son: Joseph G. Brown, Jennings, FL; Grandchildren: Jody Wommack (Stacy), Jared Wommack (Nidia), Lamar Mathis, Larry Mathis (Alicia), Travis Brown (Shawnie), Melissa Ann Jacobsen (Robert), Scarlett Altman, Preston Jackson (Jessica), Lloyd Jackson (Elizabeth), Caleb Johnson, Caitlun Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Dewayne Jackson and Zane Jackson; 24 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Sister: Edna Kreutzman, Acworth, GA, Glenda Strickland (Jim), Trenton, FL; Brother: Jerry Thompson and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 13, 2021 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
