Of Hahira passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Albany, GA on February 20, 1937 to the late Gene & Lizzie Gurr Cannon. She had lived in the Valdosta-Hahira area for most of her life. She was Methodist by faith.
Survivors Include: 2 Daughters & Sons-in-law, Vickie & Tim Bruce, Deatsville, AL, Robin & Dell Vocke, Pavo, GA; 2 Sons & Daughters-in-law, Charles & Amanda Carpenter, Hahira, GA, Jeff Carpenter & Trudy Radford, Hahira, GA, 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, Sister, Imogene Bell, New Albany, MS; Brother & Sister-in-law, George & Nancy Cannon, Albany, GA. Mary leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. In Lieu of flowers please make donation to: Susan G.
