Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at her residence after a sudden illness. She was born in Troy, AL on June 5, 1914 to the late Wyllie & Ether Sanders. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church where she was very active in the Adult 1 Sunday School Class and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include:Husband of 48 years, Elbert Cooper, Valdosta, GA, Son & Daughter-in-law, Bill & Barbara Cooper, Ray City, GA, Daughter & Son-in-law, Mary Ann & Ted Mauer, Michigan, 4 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 20 Great Great Grandchildren, a number of Nieces and Nephews
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 26, 2006 in New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Vanlandingham and Bro. David Stalvey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
