Of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in Heritage House Nursing Home. She was born on September 15, 1922 in Clyattville, GA to the late Robert F. & Dovie Mae Sumner Webb. Mrs. Crosby retired from Dowling Bag after 33 years. She enjoyed spending time at the ocean; she especially liked catching trout. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and spending time with them. She reflected the love of God by her service to others. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Genon "Teety" Crosby, a son, Derryl G. Crosby, a sister, Robbie Stubbs and 2 brothers, Willie Webb and Edsel Webb
She is survived by her, Daughter & Son-in-law, Debra & Dan Ryals, Quitman, GA; Granddaughter, Terry Lynn Gunn Jack, Cape Carnival, FL; Great Grandchildren, Ashleigh Trifunov and Cortney Trifunov; Brother, Dovall Webb, Valdosta, GA; Special Sister-in-law, Marie Webb, Hahira, GA; Special Friends, Ellen & Keith Blythe, Valdosta, GA; A number of nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 4, 2011 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens, no formal service will be held at the graveside. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Friday, February 4, 2011 at the funeral home.
