Mary Francis Dent

Of Lakeland, passed away early Monday morning, September 13, 2010 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born July 28, 1937 in Lanier County, Georgia to the late Wilbur Bailey, Sr. and Alberta Downing Bailey. She was a former employer of Owen's Illinois of Atlanta, GA and Nashville Mills, Nashville, GA and attended Browning's Chapel Church of God. She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Evelyn Jones, & Linda Browning; 4 Brothers, Raymond Bailey, Wilbur E. Bailey, Jr., Charlie Bailey, & Jimmy Bailey.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial in Fender Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, however; her request was for donations to be made to Browning's Chapel Church of God, c/o Betty Parrish, 76 E. Murrell Ave., Lakeland, GA 31635 in her memory.
