Of Lakeland, GA passed away Thursday morning January 1, 2004 in Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Berrien County, GA and had lived with her late husband, Jim Free on Banks Lake most of her life. Together they loved the lake and its beauty, fishing, hunting and spending time together. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Lakeland.
Survivors include; Daughter, Darlena Fender, Stockton, GA; Grandchildren, Deneen and Ricky Lambert, Statenville, GA, Riley & Stephanie McGuire, Stockton, GA
4 Great Grandchildren, Craig Lambert, Dusty Lambert, Thomas McGuire, Adria McGuire.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Southside Baptist Church in Lakeland with burial following in Long Bridge Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 4:00 p.m. today, January 3, 2004 with the family receiving friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. tonight.
