Mary Powell Harrelson

Mary Powell Harrelson – 71 of Valdosta passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Heritage House Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born on March 9, 1947 to the late Brunner & Evelyn (Gaskins) Powell. Ms. Harrelson worked as a cashier for Kentucky Fried Chicken for over 20 years before ill health forced her retirement. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Felton Harrelson and brother, Dalton Powell.
Survivors Include: 3 Daughters & Sons-in-law: Frances & Richard Rowe, Nashville, GA, Anita & Tim Watson, Lakeland, GA & Pam & J.D. Yeager, Valdosta, GA; 8 Grandchildren: Christina Balanis (Nate), Jarrod Watson (Jessica), Cortney Bolling (Brad), Brooke McWaters (Justin), Nicole Rowe, Morgan Yeager, Hanna Yeager and Maryann Rowe; Great Grandchildren: Brayden McWaters; Sisters & Brother-in-law: Hazel Bowman, Valdosta, GA, Helen & John Hambrick, Hahira, GA; Brother & Sister-in-law: Quillian & Margie Powell, Valdosta, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 2, 2018 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
