Mary G. Norment "Julie"

Mary G. Norment “Julie” – 72 of Lakeland, GA passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on September 21, 1947 in Atlanta, GA to the late Howard and Mary (Gloer) Garrett. Mary was an employee with Walmart for 17 years. She loved the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs and her animals. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson William “Buddy” Wade.
Survivors include her son William Terrell Kenney of Lakeland, GA; daughter Jane Kenney of Valdosta, GA; brothers: Robert “Bob” Garrett (Lynne) of Hampton, GA, Forrest Robert Holland “Marsha” of Florida; sister Peggy Croft of Marietta, GA; grandchildren: Ty Kenney and Olivia Gibbs of Naylor, GA; many nieces, nephews, and special friends and her special grandson’s, Curt Mathis, Michael Music, Michael Chadwick and Phil Murray.
As per her wishes she will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Humane Society of the United States
