Mary Belle Palmer – 81
Of Ray City, GA passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at the Hospice House Satilla in Waycross, GA. She was born on January 28, 1940 in Lakeland, GA to the late Willie Allen Suggs and Mary Rebecca (Skinner) Suggs. She worked as a LPN for many years and retired from ABC Home Health. She was member of A New Covenant Church of Ray City, GA. Her favorite music was bluegrass and she loved going to festivals and visiting the Smoky Mountains. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Terry Palmer; sister, Ethader Harper; brothers, Junior Suggs, Carlton Suggs, David Suggs and George Suggs.
Survivors include her husband, Junior Palmer of Ray City, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Pam Palmer of Ray City, GA; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray City, GA.
