Mary Lou Parson

September 11, 1924 — April 2, 2008

Of Nashville, passed away Wednesday evening April 2, 2008 at the Berrien County Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Cullman County, Alabama to the late Eursie and Vera Abbott Gaither. She worked as a seamstress at Nashville Textile for many years until her retirement. She is Holiness by Faith and a member of the Little Block Holiness Church in Ray City, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband Elbert Parson and one son Leon Parson, a brother Manuel Gaither and one sister Wynell Hamm.

A number of nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008 in the Little Block Holiness Church in Ray City, Georgia with burial following in the New River Holiness Cemetery. She will lie in state for one hour prior to service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 4, 2008 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
