Mary Frances Pridgen

Mary Frances Pridgen, age 65, of Ray City, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025. She was born on July 2, 1960, in Lakeland, FL to parents, Leonard Edwin Hunter and Inez Frances Strickland Hunter.

She was a devoted and loving homemaker whose greatest joy came from caring for her family. She made sure those she loved always felt cherished and well cared for. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, relaxing by the water with a fishing pole in hand, and cheering on her favorite football and NASCAR teams.

She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Maria Alford.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Marvin Eugene Pridgen; daughters, Stacie Alford of Zephyrhills, FL and Stephanie Starling (Chris) of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Stacia Mincy, Christian Starling, Connor Starling and Xandria Starling; brothers, Eddie Hunter (Cindy) of Lithia FL, Terry Hunter of Lithia, FL; sister, Debbie Wilkerson of Lithia FL and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
