Of Valdosta passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 evening at her residence. She was born in Berrien County, GA on January 6, 1936 to the late Willie D. & Mattie Selph Warren. Ms. Skinner was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She retired from Precious Treasures Day Care. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Skinner, Sr.
Survivors Include: Daughter and Son-in-law, Debra & Daryl Jones , Valdosta; Son and Daughter-in-law, John & Kathy Skinner, Jr., Valdosta; 2 Grandchildren: Kristen Skinner Timmy and Derek Skinner Michelle; Great Grandson: Jacob Skinner; 2 Sisters and Brother-in-law, Goldie & Richard Dunlap, Tahlequah, OK and Eloise Stone, Valdosta; Brother, Franklin "Buddy" Warren, Fitzgerald; Special Companion, Tiger and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 23, 2012 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with entombment to follow at Pleasant Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, November 21, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
