Of Stockton passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 in South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on January 13, 1934 in Homerville, GA to the late Mathew Anderson & Cindy Livingston Anderson. She was affectionately known as "Nanny" or "Aunt Mathaline". She enjoyed flowers, sewing, reading and cooking for family and friends. She was a member of Lovejoy Community Church. Mrs. Stith was preceded in death by her husband James Henry Stith, a brother, Frank L. Anderson and a sister, Juanita Tomlinson.
She is survived by her; Daughters & Sons-in-law Kay Mann, Stockton, GA, Patsy & Clyde Bennett, Stockton, GA, Connie Stith, Stockton, GA, Cindy & Steve Johnson, Stockton, GA; Sons & Daughters-in-law Tommy & Peggie Allen, Dasher, GA, James "Stinker" & Roxie Stith, Stockton, GA, Randy Stith, Stockton, GA; 14 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; Niece, Beverly Moore; A number of Nieces and Nephews
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2012 in Lovejoy Community Church with burial to follow in Wayfare Cemetery. Mrs. Stith will lie in state one hour prior to services Monday, January 16, 2012 at the church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the funeral home.
