Maxine "Mickey" Bailey

Maxine “Mickey” Bailey – 67 Of Lakeland, Georgia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her home. She was born on November 11, 1953 in Nashville, Georgia to the late Alice Knowles and Elton May. Mickey was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a wonderful cook. She enjoyed being outside with her family. Grandchildren were her passion. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Richard Bailey, Sr.; sister, Latrelle M. Day.
Survivors include her children: Rick Bailey and wife Nicole of Lakeland, Georgia, David Bailey and wife Denise of Lakeland, Georgia, Mark Bailey and wife Michelle of Patten Maine, Lisa B. Fischer and husband Tom, Chuck Bailey and Emma, John Bailey, Amanda Bailey, Chris Bailey and wife Kim and Maggie Bailey all of Lakeland, Georgia; 32 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren also many nieces and nephews also survives.
Graveside rites will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 23, 2021, at Fender Cemetery. Interment will follow. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Music Funeral Services, Lakeland. The Maxine Bailey family is being served and cared for by the Professional Staff of Music Funeral Services, Lakeland.
