Valdosta

McKenzie Caitlyn Rowe, age 25, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on October 17, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on January 23, 2001, in Lake City, FL, to Michael Sale and Christy Watford Sale.

She enjoyed shopping, not just for herself, but for others as well. She found joy in picking out special things for the people she loved, most importantly bows and clothes for Sydney Cait, always thinking of others, and wanting to make them happy. She also loved planning family trips where she could take in the beautiful scenery and make memories with her family. McKenzie never met a stranger and had friends in all walks of life.

Above all, her greatest joy was her precious Buggie, Sydney Cait, who was truly the apple of her eye. Sydney Cait was her purpose in life, and the love she had for her little girl was immeasurable. She cherished every moment with her and treasured the happiness and love Sydney Cait brought into her life.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Thaxton Sale; great-grandparents, Alvin and Mary Register, and Bobby and Annie Watford; and Bill and Verlie Simpson.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Rowe of Valdosta, GA; daughter, Sydney Cait Rowe of Valdosta, GA; parents, Michael Sale (Andi) of Valdosta, GA, and Christy Kersey (James) of Hazlehurst, GA; brother, Zach Sale of Valdosta, GA; sister, Brylie Sale of Valdosta, GA; stepsister, Jayden Sale (Tyson Wysong) of Valdosta, GA and Hallie Swofford (Zach) of Valdosta, GA; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Karen Watford of Valdosta, GA; paternal grandparents, Pam Sale of Lake Park, GA; and most special best friend and niece, Rylynn Emerson Avera of Valdosta; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her fur baby, Sophie Grace.
