Melba Webb Johnson

Johnson- Melba Webb Johnson, 76, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Tuesday May 3, 2016 in Ray City Georgia in the same room she was born in November 10, 1939. Melba is survived by her four children Kerry Miller, Lori Morris Jack, Lisa McGowan Ray, and Benjamin Johnson Sandra, fiancé; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and many extended family and dear friends. Melba served others as a compassionate nurse for 43 years and was also instrumental in Andrew Jackson's Class of 55 Reunions. She was a testament to all who knew her as one who lived life to the fullest and spent a great deal of time expanding her knowledge and documenting her ancestors and family heritage. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 6, 2016 for family and close friends at the Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray City. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Jacksonville at Encounter Christian Church at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday May 15. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com
