Of Lakeland Ga. passed away early Friday night, December 5, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. He was born in on March 15, 1952 to the late Kenneth B. and Mildred Irene Turner Pruitt. He served in the United States Army serving during the Viet Nam conflict. He worked in the Pest Control Business for over 40 years, owning and operated Pruitt's Pest Control for 25 years. An outdoorsman he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an active member of the Bulldog 1 Coffee Club in Lakeland, GA.
Survivors Include: Wife of 43 years, Connie Pruitt, his children, Shelly Pruitt, Nicole and Cameron Cook, Vincent Pruitt Alex, grandchildren, Victoria Clanton Blake, Allen Clanton III, Morgan Braddy, Samuel Pruitt, Camdon Cook, Cainan Cook, all of Lakeland, Ga. One brother, Michael Pruitt of Augusta, Ga. and one sister, Norma Hogland, of Augusta, Ga. one sister in law, Robin Hambrick, of Lakeland, Ga, two brother in laws, Rodger Kott Pat, of Georgetown, Ga. Daniel Bowen, of Waycross, Ga. Special loved one's Dana Pruitt and Allen Clanton II. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and very special uncle and best friend, John Pruitt.
Funeral Services will be held at 200 P.M. Monday December 8, 2014 at Southside Baptist Church in Lakeland Ga. Burial will follow in Camp Creek cemetery in Clinch County, GA. The family will receive friends Sunday December 7, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00P.M at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
