Michael Brendan Carroll, age 70, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at UF Shands Hospital. He was born on May 14, 1955, to Pamela Jeanne Garner and the late Maurice Carroll in Independence, Missouri. 

Michael was a faithful member of Christ the King Episcopal Church. He had a lifelong passion for automobiles and enjoyed attending car shows whenever he could. He loved to travel and took great pleasure in exploring new places. Above all, Michael was devoted to his family, cherishing every moment spent with them. He also found joy in reading, a pastime that reflected his thoughtful and curious nature. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his partner, Mark David Rodgers.

Survivors include his mother, Pamela Jeanne Garner of Kalispell, Montana; brothers: Paul Garner of Logan, Utah, John Garner of Kansas City, Missouri, and Frank Garner of Kalispell, Montana.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 11, 2025, in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
