Michael J. Jenkins – 65
Of Stockton, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on March 26, 1957 in Statesboro, Georgia to the late Herbert Jenkins and Adelaide (Shuman) Jenkins. He worked as a building contractor for many years and a “Jack of all Trades”. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister and brother.
Survivors include his wife, Joann Wyers-Jenkins of Stockton, Georgia; 5 children; step daughter, Morgan Fender (Jonathon) of Stockton, Georgia; 15 grandchildren; grandson, Israel Fender; several great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family members; sister, Bobbie Lynn Howard of Brooklet, Georgia; brother, Grady Jenkins of Metter, Georgia. fishing buddy and best friend, James Russell of Stockton, Georgia; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeannie Russell (James) of Stockton, Georgia, Pam Studstill (fiancé Robby) of Stockton, Georgia, Buddy Studstill of Stockton, Georgia; a special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Langdale Hospice House for giving outstanding love and care, especially Pam and Patricia.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Brooklet City Cemetery, 107 Church Street, Brooklet, Georgia 30415. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Music Funeral Services, Lakeland and from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Brooklet City Cemetery.
