Michael David Robertson

Michael David Robertson, 77, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021 with his family by his side in Valdosta, Georgia.
Michael was born on March 9, 1944, in Muncie, Indiana, to William Terrell Robertson and Garnell Jane (Dance) Craig.
Michael was a man who loved God, family, and country. In his early years, he proudly served in the United States Navy. Since then, his career has been in human resources. Formerly with Ball Corporation in Indiana, Michael retired from B-Way Corporation in Homerville, Georgia.
Throughout his life, Michael was devoted to his family and close friends. He spent his time doting on his wife, attending church, and visiting with his children and grandchildren. His family knew him as a loving father and “Papa,” always ready to offer loving support, hugs, and wise biblical counsel. However, Michael’s warmth and impact extended beyond his family; everyone who knew him was drawn to his charismatic wit, sense of humor, and caring personality.
Michael is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dianna Jane Robertson; his son, Ryan Robertson and spouse, Jane Robertson; his daughter, Cara Robertson; and his grandchildren, Layla Robertson and Emma Tullock.
No formal services will be held.
