Michael Dwayne Smith, 68, of Valdosta, GA passed away Sunday February 8, 2015 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on April 25, 1946 to the late Melba and Velma Green Smith in Maywood, CA. He retired after 30 years as a CMSgt, USAF and enjoyed a second career at SAFT America. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include: Wife of over 40 years, Linda Smith; Valdosta, GA, Daughter and Son-in-Law; Claire and Michael Power; Warren, ME, Grandson: Nevan Power; Warren, ME, Sister: Sheila Rice; Ann Arbor, MI, and a niece Jane McCluskey; CA.
A memorial service will be held Saturday February 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Valdosta, GA. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com . Music Funeral Services/Azalea Crematory is serving the Smith family.
