Michael Ray Stewart

Michael Ray Stewart – 60 of Nashville passed away Friday December 7, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born on March 17, 1958 in Florala, AL to the late Ray & Shirley (Adams) Stewart. Michael worked as a truck driver in the logging industry for many years. Michael was Baptist by faith. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Stewart.
Survivors Include: Wife of 29 years: Cynthia L. Stewart, Nashville; 2 Sons: Dylan Stewart, Valdosta & Dalton Stewart, Ft. Riley, KS; Daughter: Corey Sowell, Alabama; Grandchildren: Aubree, Zachary & Ashton; 2 Brothers: Tommy Stewart, Alabama, Richard Stewart, Alabama and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 10, 2018 in the Riverside Cemetery, Berrien County, GA. No formal visitation will be held. The family will be gathering at the home of John & Linda Douglas, 1012 Poplar Springs Church Road, Nashville, GA. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
