Mike Jenkins

James Michael Jenkins, age 68, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, December 22, 2025. Mike was born on July 30, 1957, in Waycross, GA to parents, George Willis Jenkins and Romana Denmark Jenkins.

Mike was married for 42 wonderful years to his loving and devoted wife, Vikki Lynn Jenkins. A devoted family man, he cherished spending time with his family and creating lasting memories together. He worked as a contractor for 30 years, proudly building homes and leaving behind a legacy of hard work and craftsmanship.

He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and was a dedicated patriot who strongly supported President Trump. In his quieter moments, he enjoyed watching movies, keeping up with the news, and listening to music. He had a deep love for animals and was known as a true animal lover with a kind and caring heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dennis Jenkins and brother-in-law, Dennis Meeks.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vikki Lynn Jenkins of Valdosta, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan Jenkins (Laura) of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Kyler Jenkins and Kahne Jenkins and sisters, Sharon Meeks of Savannah, GA and Robbie Adams (Rocky) of Valdosta, GA and beloved niece, Debbie Sue ”Darling” of Tallahassee FL. and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 24, 2026 at his residence 90 Brookfield Dr. Valdosta, Georgia 31602.
