Mildred Dunaway – 90
of Jesup passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in the Wayne Memorial. Hospital in Jesup, Georgia. She was born on September 13, 1930 in Phoenix City, Alabama to the late Eunice Taylor Johnson. She was a CNA having working for South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband C. W. Dunaway, Sr.
Survivors include: Daughter, Barbara D. Quinn of Jesup, Georgia; Son, C. W. Dunaway, Jr. and wife Lisa of Valdosta, Georgia; Grandson, Homer Allen Quinn of Jesup, Georgia; Niece, Virginia Tyre of Odum, Georgia; Niece, Jeanette Garnto of Millen, Georgia and numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 11, 2021 in the Sunset Hill Cemetery in Valdosta, Georgia.
