Mildred Elizabeth Harris – 97
Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at her home. She was born on October 28, 1925 to the late Eddie Dearwood Parker and Irene (Keel) Parker. She retired from Levi’s after working for 31 years. She loved spending time with her kids and family. She also loved fishing with her late husband, Roy. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Walter Harris, Sr.; grandson, Kevin Carter, great granddaughter, Kristen Hudson; siblings: Edna Burkhalter, Aline Tomlinson and Philmore Parker.
Survivors include: children: Susan Moore of Valdosta, Georgia, Sandra Fender (Calvin) of Lake Park, Georgia, Roy Walter “RW” Harris, Jr. of Valdosta, Georgia, Danny Harris (Charlotte) of Lake Park, Georgia, Gail Pritchett of Maryville, Tennessee, Timmy Harris (Caroline) of Valdosta, Georgia; Grandchildren: Michael Carter (Tammy), Vanessa Kennedy (David), Cliff Rooney (Mellissa), Waylon Cox, Traci Shaw, Amer Coleman (Billy), Jennifer Harris (Beverly), Jacqueline Shaver (Becky), Kimberly Harris, Renee Bellew (James), Amy Harris (Mandy), Josh Harris, Mellissa Stephens, Michelle Harris, Theresa Page (Michael), Robbie Simpson, Jarred Pritchett, Leslie Vineyard (Scottie); Great Grandchildren: Dillan, Austin, Kali, Preston, Parker, Donavan, Alessa, Logan, Hunter, Justin, Hope, Justin, Hailee, Jenzleigh, Morgan, Taylor, Aiden, Ryan, Hayden, Gaven, Abby, Jackson, Makayla, Kayleigh, Zaeleigh, Aubriona, Harley, Summer, Alston, Dalton, Madison, Brandon, Tyler, Kelsey, Austin, Dillon, Dayton, Sierra, Amelya, Allyana; numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Valdosta, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the funeral home. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left the family at
