Mildred “Annette” Hurst – 80 of Valdosta, GA passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020. She was born on December 8, 1939 in Albany, GA to the late Claire (McCollough) and Henry Hiers. Mildred was Baptist by faith and long term member of Morningside Baptist Church. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother to her husband and children. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Bill Hurst of Valdosta, GA; their 3 children: Cynthia “Cindy” Hurst of Valdosta, GA, Teresa Lynn “Terry” Pappas and husband, Butch of Valdosta, GA, William James “Jody” Hurst and wife Jeannie of Statenville, GA; Grandchildren: Travis Lentz, Chad Pappas, Ryan Pappas, Jenny Hurst, Jesse Flowers, Jodi Hurst, Jerika Hurst, Josh Hurst. Numerous great grandchildren; brother, Alan Hiers of Alabama.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services of Valdosta with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
