of Stockton, GA passed away Tuesday evening November 4, 2003 in Lakehaven Nursing Center following a lengthy illness. She was born and had lived in Lanier County all her life. She was a member of Stockton Baptist Church.
Preceding Mrs. Fender in death were her husband James Arlie Fender and daughter Joann Sweat Wrye.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and George Fussell, Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren, Michael Wrye, Joe Wilder, and Coy Fussell; Great Grandchildren; Todd Wilder, Matt Wilder, Kailey Fussell and Kenna Fussell.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Thursday November 6, 2003 in the Lakealnd Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Wayfare Cemetery in Echols County, GA
