Molly Idelle Lee Carter 86
Of Lakeland passed away Saturday, November 26, 2005 in Waynesboro, Ga. after a lengthy illness. She was born and had lived in Lanier County all of her life. After graduating from Lanier County High School she continued her education at the Georgia Normal Womens College which is now Valdosta State University where she graduated. She completed her post graduate work at Valdosta State College. She taught 5th grade Science in Naylor and Lakeland for 32 years before her retirement in 1983. Most students remembered her for bringing live experiments into class which she used in completing her lesson. She had a unique love for nature especially plants and animals. She enjoyed being a member of the Lanier County Retired Teachers Association and attended their various functions. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Carter, parents, William David Lee and Molly Clements all of Lanier County, a brother, five sisters and five year old daughter, Carol Lee Carter.

Karen Carter Abbott Adel, GA
Son Frank L. Carter, Jr. Waynesboro, Ga.
2 Grandchildren: Kelly and Frank L. Tripp Carter, III
And a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2005 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in the Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray City.
