Monica Lane Mullis

Monica Lane Mullis, 48, of Hahira, Georgia, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born on December 5, 1977, in Valdosta, Georgia to the late Donald Webb and Sammie Lane (Thompson) Webb.

Monica was a talented florist who was well known for her beautiful floral creations and dedicated work at Zant's Flower Shop. Her creativity extended beyond flowers, as she also enjoyed making homemade soaps. In her spare time, she found great joy in fishing and spending time outdoors.

Above all, Monica was a devoted wife and cherished her family deeply. She had a big heart, a strong personality, and was known for always speaking her mind. Those who knew her understood that her loyalty and love were genuine and unwavering. Monica had a special compassion for animals and was especially passionate about rescuing animals from local shelters, giving many a loving home and a second chance at life.

Survivors include her husband, James Mullis of Hahira, Georgia; her mother, Sammie Webb of Hahira, Georgia; siblings: Aubrey Webb and Perry Webb both of Hahira, Georgia; brothers-in-law, Mike Mullis (Melissa) of Eastman, Georgia and Wayne Mullis of Valdosta, Georgia; nephew, Christopher Mullis (Trish) of Valdosta, Georgia; great niece and great nephew, Harley and Chunk; numerous other family members and friends.
